Lost or Stolen Cards

Card Replacement

Cougar Card Services: During service hours Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 4:30 pm. Lost cards can be deactivated via the Cougar Card Portal or Mobile App. Visit the office at 162-A Calhoun St. in Berry Residence Hall to have the card replaced. Replacement cards are $10 for students and contractors. Payment is due at the time of issuance. Cash, checks and major credit cards are accepted.

Public Safety: After normal business hours and on weekends. Lost cards can be deactivated via the Cougar Card Portal or Mobile App. Students may visit the office at 81-B St. Philip Street to have the card replaced. Public Safety is not equipped to process payments therefore; the replacement fee of $10 will be posted to the student eBill. The bill should be paid promptly either at the Treasurer’s Office or via the ebill online.

If you suspect your card is lost or stolen, play it safe and deactivate the card via the Cougar Card Portal or Mobile App. You can also reactivate the card if you find it. Once a card has been replaced, the old card can not be reactivated. The cardholder will be responsible for all usage of the card prior to deactivation.

Cardholder Responsibilities

Cardholders are responsible for being informed of all policies regarding the Cougar Card.  The Cougar Card belongs solely to the cardholder and cannot be loaned to others.  The card is non-transferable and can be deactivated immediately. Fraudulent use or transfer of the Cougar Card is considered a violation of the Honor Code.  Violations will be reported to Student Affairs.
